Need the upgrade

I think this app is totally cool...the big problem is that you are very limited with the features on this app. You can’t even import pictures unless you upgrade the app! Another huge problem is the limited tapes you get when recording the videos. I can only really record five good videos until I have to play like three commercials to get more tapes back. Heaven forbid if I don’t have good internet! Other than that, the app is so cute and vintage. The best part is how old the footage sounds after you play it. Honestly if you’re that interested in getting the app and you really like the cam corder style, then just get the upgrade.

I love this for the aesthetic and it’s probably the best app out there to give that 80s effect. I’m not sure if I’m stupid though because I can’t find a photo option, only the video option. I just take screenshots of the video to get a photo but it doesn’t turn out as nice as I’d want. I’d pay for a photo option but I am not sure if the paid version of the app includes that. Really good overall though!

I’ve tried other VHS apps, and this is the most authentic. It’s very easy to use. The only issue I have is that you only get 5 minutes of recording time—then they want you to write a review to double that. I think they should give you at least 20 minutes from the start. Or better yet, give you a few days of recording. Other than that, it’s cool.
As real as it gets

Been looking for a great vhs emulator to give the look and feel of those old tapes and this is it. Legitimately the closest I’ve seen to actually having a camcorder in hand. The flat image and tracking lines work so well and the rotation static is a nice touch. Older consumer camcorders would mess up if you moved them too quickly or flipped them over and this replicated that very well. Great app for the lo-fi and vaporwave look.
